Melissa Essential Oil

Melissa Essential Oil has a very fresh, somewhat sweet citrus and herb like aroma. The color of the oil is light yellow or amber. It is steam distilled from the leaves and flowering tops of an aromatic perennial herb.

Please note: Melissa Essential Oil is a rare and precious oil which is often adulterated.

Why Auroma Melissa Essential Oil from The Aromatherapy Place? So you neednít worry about buying essential oils that have been adulterated: Everyday Aromatherapy has been a ritual in Australia dating back to the Aborigines. Auroma has the technology and ability to analyze and validate every essential oil by conducting Gas Chromotography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) testing and analysis. The Auroma laboratory is staffed by a team of experts, including two Ph.D Chemists, a Chemical Engineer, a Cosmetic Applications Chemist, trained perfumer and three accredited Aromatherapists. Every batch, every time!

For those of you who would like to enjoy the exquisite aroma and wonderful properties of Melissa at a more affordable price, you can also find it at The Aromatherapy Place as a 3% dilution in Jojoba.
