Fruity Soap Balls

Posted on Tuesday 27 May 2008

Make two batches of soap, one to refresh and one to relax.

Batch 1

Weigh 500gm of Ecol Soap Powder in a bowl. Slowly pour in 250mL of warmed Cucumber Floral Water, stirring continuously. Blend thoroughly to remove all lumps. Add 30 drops Lime Distilled Oil and blend well. Roll into balls, and leave to dry on greaseproof paper. Turn the balls regularly. Depending on the sizes of the soap balls made, the drying time will vary from 3 to 7 days.

Batch 2

Follow the same process, however, use the Watermelon Water and 30 drops of Grapefruit Essential Oil. The Calendula will add a golden colour to these soaps, add 10mL (2 teaspoons) at the same time as the essential oil.

Depending on the size of the balls you make, this will make a total of 30 balls – with essential oils and Calendula Oil left over for other uses!
