Isopropyl Alcohol, also commonly known as "rubbing alcohol," is widely used for cleaning surgeon's hands and instruments. As an antiseptic, it is effective against vegetative bacteria. We use Isopropyl Alcohol at The Aromatherapy Place as an antiseptic on our surfaces, tools and containers.

Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol, USP/B.P. contains 70% of isopropyl (isopropyl alcohol) by volume, the remainder consisting of water.

Specific Uses: Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol is poisonous and can cause permanent disabling illness or death if consumed. Use in well-ventilated area. Isopropyl Alcohol is flammable, so keep away from heat, spark, electrical, fire or open flame. Do not place adjacent to a lighted candle.
