Description of Citronella Essential Oil Ceylon
Citronella essential oil Ceylon has a powerful, fresh, lemony scent. Its oil is yellow to brownish yellow in color. It is steam distilled from a tall grass grown in the tropics. You will find two types of Citronella at The Aromatherapy Place, Citronella Ceylon and Citronella Java. There are a number of differences between the two, the most important being the geraniol content. Citronella Ceylon has a significantly higher geraniol content. However, the oils are similar and can be used in place of one another. Why Auroma 100% pure and natural, therapeutic grade Citronella essential oil Ceylon from The Aromatherapy Place? Unscrupulous producers often adulterate their essential oils. Auroma has an on-site full laboratory where all essential oils undergo rigorous testing and analysis. This is done using the latest in Quality Assurance with Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) equipment to accurately analyze each batch of essential oils we receive from our farmers and distillers. This is done even with the growers Auroma has dealt with for over 20 years. Every batch, every time!
