Description of Chamomile Roman Essential Oil
Historically, the herb and nursery trades have known two types of Chamomile. The German or Hungarian type - Matricaria chamomile or Chamomile recutita, and Chamomile Roman Anthemis or English type. The German and Roman Chamomiles are very distinguishable, and the effects of one can in no way be associated with the other
Chamomile Roman
essential oil has a sweet herbaceous, somewhat fruity-warm and tea leaf like scent. It has a pale yellow color. It is steam distilled from the flowering tops of the plant. Roman Chamomile is a pleasant smelling perennial with feathery fern like leaves and branced stems carrying daisy like flowers
